About Texas Narcotic Officers Association East Region
Since the beginning of the drug epidemic in the 1960's, law enforcement officers in many states have formed statewide narcotic officer associations.  On May 5, 1970, the Texas Narcotic Officers Association was organized for the purpose of exchanging information, discussing problems inherent to narcotic enforcement and sharing new techniques being utilized by officers and suspects.

In the years since the formation of the association, we have gone from a small group to an organization of over 2000 members.  TNOA members include city, county, state and federal law enforcement officers.  TNOA is a non-profit organization divided into five Regional Chapters: North, South, East, West, and Central.
